Hank Williams: Lost Highway (March 31-April 24 on Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

Travel the road with country music’s first superstar!

Hank Williams, rightfully so, is often mentioned alongside Elvis, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington and Bob Dylan as one of the great innovators of American popular music.

Follow his rise from humble beginnings to superstardom—an often-lonely journey from backwoods Alabama the stage of the Grand Ole Opry. When he died in 1953 at age 29, he had burned as many bridges as he’d built during his short, but near mythical life.
This unforgettable musical tribute will remind you of what Williams did best: casting the simple spell of his yearning songs on adoring fans. You’ll hear more than twenty, including: “I’m so Lonesome I Could Cry,” “Jambalaya,” “Hey, Good Lookin’,” and “Your Cheatin’ Heart.”

While Lost Highway gives you the exhilarating feeling of Hank in a particular place on a particular night, by the end of the show you’ll have taken a profound emotional journey.
